What is better to use in Ubuntu, a snap installation or a regular deb package?

Ubuntu is pushing snaps. However, I am not sure whether snap affects performance and other things. What is the advantage of snap for Firefox? Better security? Avoiding potential library conflicts? I don't think there is any conflict with the regular Firefox deb package. Moreover, the current snap Firefox gives me errors on Ubuntu 22.04.
