I have a KVM switch that is improperly made. It will not recognize the Back/Forward buttons on my mouse. The current shortcuts require me to move my hand off the mouse as they use a modifier (ALT+Left Arrow).

I want to create a single key Back/Forward shortcuts so I can keep my hand on the mouse. Specifically, I want to reassign (or add, not fussy) the F2 and F3 keys to Back and Forward.

How do I do that? (And to quote Gene Krantz, failure is NOT an option.)

Hello Jim Simon,

I don't know the answer to your question (I don't use, have nor want a mouse), but I'm sure that someone else will come up with a proper answer.

I found this article (thought it might interest you) :
