Have you tried copying and pasting the verification link in your email in FF, or a different browser to try and get it verified? I believe someone got this same error to work after they tried that.

I Found a bug for this, from October, on bugzilla https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1582748

I would say this is being investigated.

Have you tried copying and pasting the verification link in your email in FF, or a different browser to try and get it verified? I believe someone got this same error to work after they tried that.
