I have set up a few computers in the lab for the use of small children. All of the computers are synced with an firefox account. However, I would like to hide the address bar and I couldn't find ways to do it for this new version. Hoping for a new update where address bar can be hidden.

Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars

Type about:customizing<enter> in the address bar.

Note: about:customizing is no longer present in Firefox 47+ releases.

  • Press Alt or F10 to bring up the toolbar.
Then View > Toolbars > Customize.
  • Right-click on a blank spot in the toolbar and select Customize.

Look for Show / Hide Toolbars at the bottom left.

There is also a Restore Defaults button at the bottom middle.
