I need Firefox to be compatible with Dragon NaturallySpeaking again. Is that going to happen?

The update a few months ago made Firefox noncompatible with Dragon NaturallySpeaking, which is the only way I can use my computer as I'm quadriplegic from a spinal cord injury. It made it so slow & I had to uninstall and reinstall an older version of Firefox. Now I keep getting messages saying that I have to prove I'm a real human and to make sure I have JavaScript and cookies enabled. Apparently one kind of Java isn't enabled & I can't install it because I have to use the older version of Firefox that works with Dragon NaturallySpeaking. Is Firefox ever going to be compatible with Dragon NaturallySpeaking again with the newer versions of Firefox? This is causing a huge problem for me.

There is one "kind of" Java; many people associate JavaScript with Java but that is just wrong - no connection between the two. If you do need Java you have the wrong version of Firefox 52. The Windows 64-bit version won't use Java; you need the 32-bit version of Firefox and it needs to be the ESR 52 version of Firefox (Extended Support Release version). You posted here with the 64-bit regular Firefox 52 Release version, which doesn't support Plugins as Dragon NaturallySpeaking uses.

Get it here, from the 4th column where is says Windows 32-bit. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/

That said, you need to contact Nuance and ask them what their future plans for NaturallySpeaking are later this year are for when support and security updates for Firefox 52 ESR end in August. At which point 52 ESR is no longer supported by Mozilla.
