Reinstalling Thunderbird
Had to reinstall Thunderbird as a windows update crashed the pc. When I try to set up my account using the previous email account , says username/password is incorrect. I can open the email account using the same password on the direct site. I coped the folder from windows.old to my program files. Advice on how I can get the "correct" username /password to work plse?

Hello helpplse ! I understand your problem. I’m going to give you tips to resolve this problem. First, uninstall any installation of Thunderbid. Then delete all realted thunderbird files on your computer. Try to install Thunderbird again.
