I recently had to replace my computer and I am trying to restore my Top Spots page, but can’t remember one of the websites I had saved. Is there a folder or document that Mozilla saves on my hard drive that shows the web sites that were pinned to my Top Spots page? If so – where do I find it on my old drive?

Do you mean the top sites you see on the about:newtab page or the Activity Stream version of the home page?

Tabs that you have pinned are stored as a String pref (JSON format) in prefs.js in the profile folder.

  • browser.newtabpage.pinned
