Is there a way to prevent Firefox to lose characters in text input fields when input comes from a barcode reader in keyboard emulation?

Scanning barcodes with a barcode reader in a text input field lose some characters in the middle. I think it's for time leaks. I tried to scan barcodes in some different fields in different web pages, like google.it and firefox -> support -> login fields (it is not an issue of the form page I use). I tried to disable hardware acceleration.

Thank you Lucio Menci

I wrote in a FF Support Forum, I wrote in the title that Firefox has an issue, I explained that the problem is browsing different web pages... What is that make you think I talking about another software?

The only software I talking about is Firefox... Open a page containing an input box with firefox. Use a handheld barcode scanner (like the ones in shops, connected as keyboard input devices - I used three different devices, Logitec Gliphon, Logitec MKX serie and another scanner of my customer I don't remember company and model). Scan a long barcode. Into the input box there will be less characters than the ones scanned.

Not warry, I said to my customer to use Chrome. Now all is running well

What software are you talking about here? And how is it related to FF?
