Facebook Icon Changed

The Facebook icon on the bookmark taskbar changed (see image). I was posting an image on FB of a bar graph, and it took that as the icon for FB. How do I change it back to the original icon?

Simply try deleting the old bookmark for Facebook and removing it from the bookmarks toolbar as well. Then you create a new Facebook bookmark and add the newly created bookmark to the bookmarks toolbar.

Let me know if this works. :)

I tried that. It didn't work.

When you're on Facebook and the normal site icon is showing on the tab, try reloading the page bypassing the cache to see whether you can update the icon in the cache that way. Either:

  • Command+Shift+r
  • Shift-click the reload button in the address bar

Does that help?

Thanks for trying, but it didn't work. This is so weird.
