Why doesn't CTRL-A to select all work in Message Filters??
When viewing my filters, and I have 131 in just one of my accounts, there is no way to select all of them at the same time should I want to run them all.
CTRL-A is the industry standard keyboard shortcut for selecting all of something on the screen.
Please, can we get this added to the Message Filters like it works elsewhere in Thunderbird?

I don't know why ctrl+a doesn't work there (yet shift+click does.)
I had never noticed because I have never needed to do that. I'd just select the folder and use a toolbar button labelled "run the filters set up for the current folder". IIRC this particular button came courtesy of the quickfilters add-on, though ISTR there are others on the add-ons site.
That's a lot of filters. Difficult to manage, I'd think. Are you trying to manage spam with filters?

Hi Zenos,
I'm not sure if loading an add-on will help or not, I have not reviewed all of the ones that work with the newest Thunderbird version.
However, I don't think we should have to load an add-on to Thunderbird to get this very simple feature.
Seems like an oversight. Where you have the possibility of a long list of items that can be selected with SHIFT-CLICK, CRTL-A should be supported.
In relation to why I have so many, it has to do with my role at my job and the filtering of many work related emails.
Thanks for the response, think it could be easily added?

You could file a bug and see what the developers have to say on the topic.
I did have a quick look and can see nothing filed for Thunderbird mentioning Ctrl+A and message filters. Perhaps your the first to notice and say something.
