The "check my plugins are up to date" selection is missing in my addons page in firefox v50.0
Does clicking on the cog and then selecting "check for updates" now check plugins and extensions?

I have had to open a tab with this link to check updates for plugins. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
