After upgrade to Thunderbird 38, I could not read those email content with character encoring "Simplified Chinese". Also I could not correctly print out these email.

In the main menu bar: View - Character Encoding Pick the encoding scheme which fits your needs.

The problem is those email header already include Character Encoding inside. I no need to select these type of email before upgrade to Ver 38.0 Also even I use VIEW -> change ENCODING to correct display the email. When I goto PRINT PREVIEW, those message body would go back to unknow characters as the screen shows. I confirm this is a bug within Version 38.
