thunderbird worked perfectly on 9/3. This morning suddenly I cannot send email. The message is: An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Authentication is required before sending [R0107005]. Please verify that your email address is correct in your Mail preferences and try again.

I made no changes between 9/3 and 9/4

any help appreciated, have been using Thunderbird for many years.
