My adobe flash zeros out when ff stops
Whenever my ff30 stops (as in I leave it for a while and it's still running) or I shut it down, the volume in Win 7 resets Flash to zero.
I have the latest versions of both Flash and Firefox.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode; Press the <Alt> or <F10> key to bring up the tool bar. Followed by;
Windows; Tools > Options Linux; Edit > Preferences Mac; application name > Preferences
Then Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Poke around safe web sites and see if there is still a problem. Then restart.
My hardware acceleration was already off.
Does the problem continue in Safe mode?
Yes it was.
I'm actually thinking I might have registry problems in Windows and this is symptomatic.
Try running a registry scan.
