The method I formally used (Ctrl+) to increase text font size is no long working nor is Ctrl with mouse scrolling, nor is any other options I've found in settings. The font size on header and side bars is increasing but not the text of emails.

I've done EVERYTHING.

New install of latest version. edited profile to point to saved data on USB external drive DELETED every instance of lock files terminated task numerous times. rebooted 3 times...

What now???

Since the latest update a Yahoo Mail sign-in keeps popping up...sometimes two different versions. It's driving me nuts. Should I uninstall/reinstall Thunderbird. It's so frequent for no apparent reason that I may have to give up Thunderbird and many, many years of use...and donations. thx, deanna

Is this still possible in Release 153 because I cannot find how using this suggestion:

Open Thunderbird, click the Address Book button, select the specific contact list, go to Tools > Export , choose Comma Separated (.csv) as the file type, and click Save.

I have tried reinstalling the account automatically and manually no matter which way I do it it just comes up awaiting authorization then just hangs there? I have doubled checked all the settings, imap.mail.yahoo.com 993 OAuth. smtp.mail.yahoo.com OAuth 465 SSL/TLS I have done everything that I can find so am I missing something? Chris

There used to be an option of searching by various fields such as From, To, etc. I cannot find it. The only option I find, is "mentions", and this does not include From. Took me a while to find a message today.

Is there such option somewhere?

I am using Thunderbird Meadow.

Is it possible to send emails without a subject, other than getting the warning dialogue box.

It would be very useful.

Thunderbird downloads new emails for all my emails except one. Has not downloaded on that one since July 3. Have reset various background settings to match other email accounts. Running on Windows 10. Suggestions?

Using the same settings as my main account: imap.gmail.com SSL/TLS 0Auth2 Tried copying in same local directory as one that is working. No idea what all these do...

Thunderbird just updated and the next time I opened it all of the folders I created and the emails I'm storing within them are missing. I found my profile as directed. I'm not sure if I have a backup of it. I've included the screenshot as you ask for. I know that those folders and emails are there as I was playing around with the the 3 lines > View and when I moved between the different choices I saw my folders/emails are all in there.

My ISP changed us to another mail provider. So I created a new version of my existing email with different server settings, then restored my email backup. I did this all offline and it was successful. All my emails and folders were there.

Next, I went online to download new email, after which all of the messages and folders from the backup were removed (overwritten). I've tried repeating the process by removing the new account and reinstalling it, but I can't get my old emails and folders back. This is a significant problem because I have over a decade of financial and legal emails in the backup. I have tried a number of the solutions posted in the Community but have not been successful in getting my emails back. I'm using Windows 10 and Thunderbird 115.10.1.

Any insights are most appreciated.

For a few weeks now, sent emails have not been appearing in the "Sent" folder. The recipient receives the email, but I have no confirmation in "Sent" that it was actually sent. It was never a problem.

On my iMac, across all thunderbird email accounts, when I click on "New Message", the new window opens up with the Send button and Encrypt button blanked out. To activate the Send button, I have to right click on the Send button, then click on "Customize..." button, then click on "Restore Default Set". Next new message, same drill. This started one day ago and is a pain in the butt. How do I make the Send button live permanently?

I started a monthly donation to Thunderbird a few hours ago and now I'm thinking it may have been a scam. Not sure, and I have sent an email to your donation email about this. Since I made that donation (and maybe this is a coincidence), I am not able to send any emails. I can compose an email, but there is no "send" button anymore. Can you help me with this? Thank you very much.

The disappearing emails.

It took me a while to find out what was going on. My friend said some of his Sent mail was nowhere to be found. After searching for it in a 'wrong' place it does not exist. Sending to the same recipient and again it just disappears. Simplifying the mail down to just address and the word "test", it still disappears. No combination of a Thunderbird search nor an Everything search finds anything. No return error message from this provider nor the recipients.

This address is for the local electricity board, other mails to other departments

go through correctly and are found in the Sent email directory.

A careful inspection of the contact information shows this is the only department

without a "Shown Name" it only has an email address filled in.

Entering a Name for this contact solves the problem, it now shows up in the Sent

folder and is easily searchable.

I hope this explanation helps some one else with a 'Houdini' email.

Hi David This is the last attempt I did but it failed. Enclosed is the screen shot you have asked for. Keep in mind my WIN 10 has 64 Bit but the last update from Thunderbird was 32 Bit
