Witam serdecznie mam problem z kontem darekkowalski@konto.pl mam zajęte 97% i nie mogę tego zmiejszyć już odistalowałem pocztę wyczyściłem i nadal to jest to informacji przesyła skany mojego problemu proszę o pomoc jak to zrobić dziękuję Dariusz Kowalski

I am getting the error "connection timed out to connect to SMTP server". I am running on Linux Mint. The same setting do work on MacOS so there is no wrong config or broken SMTP server. It was working well since a couple of years. I also tried troubleshooting mode but still the same.

I've been using TB for many years, and without warning, when it tries to down load my mail from the Proton mail server, it says it can't find the folder "Inbox". I've tried to "repair" that folder a couple times unsuccessfully. I've restarted the TB program a couple times, but nothing changes. The error shows up on the bottom "instruction line". I've gone through all my settings and find nothing amiss. Not sure where to go from here. -- Just noticed that I had about 80 emails in that Inbox folder that are now missing completely. Normally, I move read emails to there respective folders, and leave important ones in the Inbox for followup. One significant note here, is I'm still using Win 7 premium. So far it hasn't been a problem. Thanks a bunch, Gerald

With a new Thunderbird installation on Windows 10 Pro, I attempted to import my profile data from a Postbox on another machine. The process failed, citing two errors (see attached screen shot), EmptyDatabase Error: "blocklists/addons-bloomfilters" has not been synced yet Uncaught NS_ERROR_FILE_NO_DEVICE_SPACE: Component returned failure code: 0X805200010

The profile being imported is pretty large -- around 20Gb, so I wonder whether I have surpassed some capacity limit. I was doing this via the Import Tool on the Tools menu.

Porting my legacy mail folders is crucial. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm new to Thunderbird so can you explain what is the status of a Local Folder, please. Does it count against the email allowance? and How can I move emails from a Local Folder back to the main folders, please?

I wish the subject line in an email would be editable ala Office Outlook. I make frequent online orders and the acknowledgment emails often simply have a subject line such as, 'Thanks for your Order' 'Order delivered' 'We got your Order'. That tells me very little. If I could add something like, 'Best Buy - backup ups battery', 'eBay - head phones', 'Walmart - house wares' that would make life much simpler. --Don

I have a suspicion someone is reading my e-mails. I am using Virgin Media as my ISP and have changed the password on my account.

Is that enough to stop my e-mails being read by someone other than me or what can I do to protect my inbox, please?

Hi, I had/have an IMAP account at my ISP Host, with TB connecting to.

There has been a number of occasions where I have used the Servers IMAP copy of emails as a back up, and from memory am sure that when connecting a fresh client, all emails/folders etc updated and down loaded from the server > client, in fact nothing got deleted on either side, and both sides synced.

My host (Fasthosts - I will name and shame) deleted my whole IMAP account by mistake.

They hastily re-instated just the package but all the emails had been wiped from the server.

I did though have a full copy of all emails on my TB IMAP client.

When I reconnected my client to the server after the re-instatement, i expected my clients emails to upload to the server, but instead they 'vanished' - and I have nothing but empty folders.

Am I able to recover any of these emails from my client, ie are they sitting in a file/folder still ??

TB has restarted a number of times since, and I fear the folder may have been compacted, but I cannot be sure.

Thoughts appreciated.

Thunderbird Version 152.0 Manjaro KDE Plasma 6.6.5 Kernel 6.18.36-1-MANJARO (64-bit) Graphics Platform Wayland ThinkPad T420

Successfully added monthly-repeating event for the first day of each month beginning at 00:00 hour with duration 0:00. These events correctly appear in another calendar (Google). This also shows there is no confusion between 'monthly' and '4-weekly'.

In Thunderbird's Calendar display, these events do not appear in day, week- and month-view modes, when the first of the month is the first day to be displayed. When the first of the month is positioned further into that view-mode's display then that repeating-event is correctly displayed.

The above happens in Thunderbird's Safe Mode with all add-ons disabled.

My old email address was [redacted] @USIWireless.com. I got a new email address: [redacted] @icloud.com I am trying to set up my new email address with Thunderbird and when I do the steps I get an error message. "Unable to log in at server probably wrong configuration, user name or password. I am using my new email address with its password. Not sure what to do next. I would really like to get my new email on Thunderbird. Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thank you for any help! Anthony Berka
