I open a new tab (link from email or a other page usually). I read the bloody thing. I click the number of open tabs to display all open. I close the tab with the x. It goes away (closes). It gives me the option to undo. I wait until that goes away. I wait few more seconds and swipe down on the "open tabs" frame. It closes and the number says 7. It agrees with what I see open, and the visible content is from tab #7 I wait 5 minutes. I close Firefox and wait 5-10 minutes. I open Firefox... I'm up to 22 now. This has been going on for about a week (at least) now.

In the past before this started happening, occasionally if I was moving too fast it would happen, so I would go slower (I thought cache) and it would work. Now, it's ridiculous.

NOTE : there are 7 tabs I want to keep open for now... I've been trying to close all the rest for some time now!

This is a new issue that just started occuring this month Nov/2023. Firefox for Android has suddenly developed an issue where instead of saving to the download folder and renaming the file with (1), (2), etc. It will save to a random folder and overwrite an existing file with the same name.

Noticed occuring on ebay images because they have the same naming structure.

The issue is appeared after first time page loading and first opening of a modal. When I click on the dropdown selector (implemented through a div), the selector does not open. After clicking many times on then the dropdown - list opens. The next time after openning modal and click dropdown list - the dropdown list opens. This error is only on Android mobile in Firefox.

Sometimes when I close and reopen Firefox, or when it's been sitting as a background app and gets refreshed, my currently open tab will no longer load; it hangs on a blank page showing a progress bar but never progressing. All the other tabs work fine, and copying the url of the failing tab to open it in a new tab works fine as well. I saw this problem more often when I had homepage enabled, but it still sometimes happens now (and I think it sometimes still goes into homepage by itself anyways, maybe that's the culprit?). This is a problem for me because I frequently use the page history for going back and forth on my most used tab, and this forces me to close it and then shuffle in a new tab

i'll try and describe the issue the best i can, sometimes when you have multiple tabs i've noticed the last tab open or which is the lastest tab will sometimes die.

Let's say you open YouTube in a tab and you leave it to go to Google in another tab when you go back to the YouTube tab it will show YouTube in the url but the page will be blank. If you go back to the Google tab it shows Google you can move around the google site but you cant use it. You can try and reload the page but nothing happens you can re enter Youtube in the address bar or any site but nothing happens the tab is essentially unusable.

For instance in the screen shot i posted the comicbook .com tab "died" and when i switch to the Entertainment earth tab it says Comicbook .com i can't enter in a new URL you just get a infinte loading bar that never loads. if i hit reload you again get a infinte loading bar or sometimes it just goes blank.

This has been happening for awhile and has happened on multiple devices this isn't a single instance on one device.

why is the screen flashing on all websites? I have the latest version of Android on S22 and the latest version of the browser? is there any solution? using this browser has become extremely difficult!

On Firefox 120.0.1 when I clic a whatsapp link, for example https://wa.me/########## where # is the number, it opens the webpage and has the message Whatsapp is not installed. Opening the same link with Desktop Site enabled, works fine. The behavior is the same using api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=##########

Open links on app setting is enabled to always and other app links are working ok.

I'm using Whatsapp Business app on Android 13 Xiaomi Miui 14 Phone

On Chrome for Android and Edge for Android it works ok

I recently started using Firefox browser on Android mobile OS, and am having trouble with Korean letter URLs.

On Firefox, unlike Chrome or built-in Samsung internet browser, URLs containing Hangul are displayed ASCII code on every page.

For example, this is how the URL of '모질라 파이어폭스' article on korean wikipedia is displayed.

As you can see, it is totally a mess and very uncomfortable when it comes to sharing or modifing an URL.

I tried turning off HTTPS-Only Mode in settings however it didn't work.

My idea is that changing the browser's encoding setting from ASCII to UTF-8 will help, but I can't find any option for it.

Is there any solution or add-on to solve this problem?

Noticed my phone having terrible battery life, from battery usage you can see that Firefox is highly likely one of the main culprits. I have observed the same over a few days on the last two Firefox builds. I can't seem to find a way to pin bookmark tiles on the homepage (new tab). I also want to stop recently visited site tiles from appearing there if possible. Homepage and Customize in Settings don't seem to have any options for that now. Android 14, Firefox 120.0.1, Pixel 7a phone.

why firefox don't remember last bookmark folder after opening the site in Android i have to revisit bookmark menu then bookmark folder then bookmark menu after i open a website why it can't remember my last bookmark position.
