Can you help me repair my FireFox Browser? The shortcut did not launch the browser. It stated that the file had moved or was no longer working. It still appears in my App folder but the only option is to uninstall it. I have a great deal of short cut tabs and all my stored passwords. How do I repair this? If I re-download Firefox will it access all of my stored information and preferences?

Seem as if you cannot change the primary email address if the address has been invalidated. What are the options here? I no longer have access to that email address. How do I change my primary address now?

Pressing print/pdf button for screenshot then pick the folder destination documents then press save and what it's used for is decrease the size of the screenshot with pinching the screen then retake the screenshot of desired smaller size however for the first time it has an error in documents folder the says "can't open pdf" and then I tried the 3 dot menu in upper right corner to use an app to open it up and I went through all of them and nothing works

After your security fix this morning, I discovered that I can't access my earthlink inbox. I keep getting the login page, and when I try to log in, the login page is all I get. I can, however, access my earthlink inbox on Edge. So I wonder if there was something in your security fix that is creating this problem on Firefox. How to fix this?

gerald.r.vargas 4. Aug. 2026, 08:23 GMT-6 Hi, this morning for some reason all the tabs I had open couldn't been loaded. Refreshening the page didn't help either. So I decided to shut down and restart my laptop.

Unfortunately after restarting Firefox only one page and its tabs have been reloaded.  All the others were gone. 

After trying about:support and session:restore it didn't help either, because only the 4th of Aug. was available. Is there a possibility for a session restore from the 03rd of Aug? or the previous days? If anybody has an idea, how to do so, please let me know.

Hello I am using Google Flow on my Linux PC and when going to edit scenes I get an error about a missing Codec. If I use Brave browser works fine so this makes me think this is not an OS issue but browser.

Today after i restarted my laptop (windows) and then I started firefox all the pinned and also the normal tabs were gone. I tried to follow different indications about restoring the previous session, but nothing showed up. All the tabs are gone.

As I need these tabs and this is obviously an issue of the software, PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP.

Is not possible that this happens every 1-2 months.

Dozens of reboots every day due to video seizures only with Firefox. Tab crashes causes those I am ordered to support to LOSE WORK. After a tab crash and restore the FF interface is frozen -- no type of input from peripherals possible. This is all supposed to be solved by Monday. If I am out of luck with FF -- just tell me. That's very simple. New machines, new OS and it's worse than under the legacy systems we support after moving up from Win 7 Pro.

It was working just fine, and suddenly it stopped working. I hadn't rebooted my computer for over a month, and accidentally popped the circuit breaker the computer was connected to, so it rebooted for the first time in a long time. No other issues except Firefox will not connect to the internet when Proton VPN is running, but Firefox works just fine when the VPN is turned off.

I updated to the latest version of Firefox, so I assume that's the same thing as reinstalling it.

Proton VPN allows you to do what they call "split tunneling", where some browsers are excluded from the VPN (Firefox) and other browsers are always behind the VPN (everything else). I use Firefox as a secondary backup browser when the VPN is a problem and I don't want to turn it off.

I ran the Firefox "Safe Mode" and that failed to connect as well. I don't think it's the VPN? But maybe?

Any help appreciated, and thanks in advance.

When trying to access my Tablo units via my.tablotv.com, the browser appears to see the units (or perhaps it is using prior access data, I don't know). But when selecting a Tablo unit to connect with, the result is a "continuing" message with the usual circle, but then nothing else-- neither the expected successful connection nor the usual "problem connecting" message when something is wrong. I can still access the units as usual using firefox on my Chromebook, which I presume hasn't updated Firefox the same way. These are the older Tablo units, not the different system they are selling now.

I'll attach a screenshot. I did try "repair"ing Firefox using the built in Windows functionality, but that didn't seem to change anything. I was thinking of trying to uninstall firefox and reinstall it, if you think that might work. Let me know if you have any suggestions. Stephen Hedges

I'm using the latest version of Firefox on macOS Tahoe. Over the past 2–3 days, Firefox has started behaving unexpectedly.

Issues:

   Firefox automatically creates additional Dock icons while I'm only using a single Firefox window. Even if I remove the extra icon, it reappears after some time.

   When I open a different Firefox profile, it launches under a new Dock icon instead of using the existing Firefox icon. As a result, I end up with three separate Firefox Dock icons simultaneously.

   Firefox also fails to play pronunciation audio on some dictionary websites (e.g., JapanDict). Clicking the speaker icon produces only a brief click with no spoken audio. The same pronunciation works correctly in Safari, suggesting a Firefox-specific issue.

Expected behavior:

   Firefox should use a single Dock icon (unless intentionally running separate app instances).

   Different profiles should not create unexpected duplicate Dock icons.

   Pronunciation audio should play normally, as it does in Safari.

Environment:

   macOS Tahoe (latest version)

   Firefox (latest version)

While Using Youtube : from the starting page (that comes up with multiple Clips displayed), I attempt to do the following: By selecting Open Link in a new tab, or Open Link in Split View (So I can Watch a specific clip without loosing the original displayed clips on the starting "face Page") ...the selected Opened Link Immediately Becomes Greyed Out And Refuses to Play the the Clip. To watch that clip I must close the video clip that I selected to then return to the original opening page to then Move the pointer back over the smaller box-clip that I want to watch, leaving the pointer on that clip is the only way to watch the clip. This Just Started Happening Recently...... This is Happening Every time..... Apparently, if you want to watch ANY of the displayed clips from a Start "Face Page" you can Only watch by hovering the mouse pointer on that specific Small Box Clip on the starting page...I can't bookmark that page without selecting the page to another Face Page, which then looses the smaller multiple clips on the original face page that I started on.

Has anyone seen this behavior? Is it really a browser issue or an extension one? Is it a config issue or a bug? I'm juggling 2FA settings on slack for a per workspace basis, plus to Bitwarden confusing different workspaces I'm also having issues with saving updated passwords into Bitwardens vault I'm also logged into my Mozilla account I'd like help troubleshooting this, thanks

Hello. I'm iranian and i need to use vpn to search some sites like pinterest, youtube, freepik&... . for that i add veepn extention on my firefox. It connects but doesn't run on the site also till using the extention, browsing gets some problems and my browser doesn't work properly. Even recently it works slower. I don't know what is the problem to fix it; so I tried to ask your team. Thanks for your attention.
