Would like to save all my deleted emails in a common trash box from all my accounts. Currently, accounts are saving deleted emails in their OWN trash folders. Can I force all deleted emails into a single trash folder?

I'm in the process of cleaning up Thunderbird e-mail before moving to a new computer. I started with 11,593 e-mails in my Inbox and 7,799 e-mails in my Sent folder. I'm now down to 7,634 in my Inbox and 4,965 in my Sent folder. I've allocated 2 weeks for this process and found that it's taking me about 3 hours per day to meet my daily goals. I'm finding that I'm spending at LEAST half the time responding to "Empty-Trash/Compact-folders" requests. There are times I can delete 50 e-mails at a time without getting a request. Other times I will try to delete ten e-mails and get the request. With the old version of Thunderbird I could literally delete hundreds of e-mails at a time. Can you help? Russ Bukwa Yardley, PA ps. Hello, there is a problem with Youtube video hosting in the FireFox browser. When trying to play a video, there is an endless attempt to play the video. Attempts to fix the problem, including using about:config, were unsuccessful. We kindly ask you to let us know how to solve this problem, given that the problem is related to FireFox, since everything works properly in Chromium-based browsers. Thank you in advance!

Hello, Login into my firefox account works on Android but, with the same username and password, fails on Windows 11 with the error message " Something went wrong..." I would appreciate getting your help to fix this issue. Thank you and regards.

OK, for me, this has always been the 'go to' browser of choice.... until recently...!! I've tried a whole heap of browsers, some open-source derivatives, some based on gecko, you name it, I've tried it.... for Mac and for Windows, although I won't put some of those tripe PC ones on my beloved Mac, and there in lies the problem...!! My Mac Pro is a 17yr old quad which is still quick by today's standard and I run El Capitan as it won't upgrade anymore, running Firefox v78... I don't it to be running the most up to date b'cos I'm not doing anything special to warrant getting t'morrow's browser today.... my problem is.... some of the extension which made this browser run faster have been stopped due to verification issues...!! How did these extensions make to the Add-ons if they were never verified in the first place as they were in use for a while before use was halted...!! Now, I get stupid pop-ups randomly, along with salacious material asking my to join suggestive websites and worse, some of which bounce to 'other' websites when you try to delete them...!! Do you not have ways of verifying these extension before they hit the Add-ons page...?

I have a number of computers that I would like to have configured identically, including Firefox's extensions. Is there a mechanism that I could use to automatically install a list of extensions on my (linux, windows) computers?

I have sound in Windows, but YouTube is dead quit. I have tried all that is suggested in Firefox help and some YouTube sites. Nothing worked. I have tried off the computer and restarted, but no change. My system is Windows 11, sound works, and the latest Firefox update installed. Question is this a YouTube tacit to stop NoScript and uBlock?

I have Comcast as my internet service provider. I use Thunderbird to download a copy of my e-mails from their server and send e-mails out through their server. Until about a month ago, Thunderbird, which I used for many years will not send my e-mails but will still allow me to receive my e-mails. When I try to send an e-mail, I get an error message that says Login to server smtp.comcast.net with username (then my e-mail address).net failed. I had read on Google that Thunderbird was having some trouble and one of the fixes was to uninstall Thunderbird and reinstall it. Also, to check my settings on my computer which I did and nothing has worked. When The message doesn't go through, after this failure message, I then get this message "Sending of the message failed. Unable to authenticate to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.comcast.net. Please check the password and verify the 'Authentication method' in 'Account Settings | Outgoing server (SMTP)'. I tried changing my password and it did not help. I also contacted the Comcast security team which was able to help me with a previous Thunderbird issue but not this one. They said the problem was with Thunderbird this time. Can anybody assist me with this please?

I recently needed to reinstall Firefox to attempt to deal with an issue. It turned out Firefox was not the cause but when the new browser opened, it did not have the Home icon on the toolbar.

I went to "Customize toolbar" and added it but now it shows up on the far right end of the toolbar. It used to be to the left of the URL area. I tried to grab it with the mouse and drag it but it won't move.

Every time I need to jump to a home page I end up going where it used to be. I realize this is small potatoes but is there any way to get it back where it used to be?
