I installed Thunderbird on a new Motorola Razr running Android 15. It worked just fine for a few days, but now will not download any new emails (GMail on the same phone is working fine). I have two accounts installed. One (much smaller) seems to be working fine, while the other is only partially working. Namely, I can only see emails from Monday or earlier (today is Thursday).

If I use my desktop to delete one of the older messages that is displayed on the phone, it will be removed from the phone the next time I swipe down and have it refresh the inbox. If I use the desktop to update the read/unread status of an email that does appear one the phone, that is not updated when I refresh the phone.

It is a recently added account, is it possible that the device is just downloading older messages and is backed up? I don't know where or how I could access the activity monitor (or whatever the proper name is) to see what the program is or is not doing.

On a samsung a54 running android 16 and thunderbird 18.0, thunderbird crashes on trying to open a specific email from theglobesailer.com. it does contain quite a lot of images? Interestingly, it opens ok on my tablet running 17.0. I can't see anywhere obvious to submit a bug report, so maybe someone on here could pass it on, please?

I've tried everything. Nothing seems to work.

The new Profiles menu option will not go away. I have no use for it, will never use it and I accidentally select it since they stuck it right next to bookmarks. Pretty poor decision.

If there is not way to remove it then after 30 years I will be dropping Firefox.

For some time it has been a frequent problem with firefox not showing my bookmarks but today it has not even allowed me to restore them, when will this be fixed, I prefer not to use other browsers myself. The restore window is dead it seems.

I have the latest Thunderbird update. Since yesterday, using imap.comcast.net, I have been getting the error "Login to server imap.comcast.net with username [removed] failed." It wants me to retry or enter a new password. I cannot get emails. I can, however, log into my Comcast email account online and see emails delivered. Thunderbird, of course, will not receive these emails.

For imap.comcast.net, port is 993, connection security is SSL/TLS, and authentication method is normal password. I have not changed any of these settings. I have not changed my password. I have done nothing to cause the problem.

I cannot find a solution online. Could someone help? Thank you!

As so many have experienced, but I have yet to find the actual solution, I will bring up the issue.

I recently purchased a new computer. Installed Thunderbird, created all the mail accounts I have and... no problems. All the accounts, once created, populated with emails. For 3-4 days, there were no issues.

Important to note: I let TB use all the default settings. And once everything was up and running >>>>I did not change anything<<<<<.

Then a few days later, I started getting the following messages for two accounts that had migrated from q.com to myctl.net. Entering the 100% proven-correct password results in the know endless-loop of entering the password and the same pop-up error message. The PW is 100% correct as I can go to Centurylinks' website and login using that same, exact password and read my emails.

I've spent enough time trying all the suggestions here, reddit, facebook etc so I'd thought I'd see if anyone has actually found a solution.

On the new tab page I have set for 4 rows of shortcuts. In the fourth row I have 3 open spaces for tiles/shortcuts. There is no way to add the tiles whereas there was previously a tile that would show that said "+add shortcut". Given I have room in the row to add 3 shortcuts, how do I add tiles to allow for added shortcuts?

I've been having this strange behaviour in Firefox Nightly on Android, where the "Delete browsing data on Quit" setting, whether it is ticked or not, automatically closes open tabs. This used to not be a thing, and I wish for some clarification if this was supposed to do this from the start or not.

My settings under the "Delete browsing data on quit", which is of course turned on: Ticked: Browsing data, Cached images and files, Downloads Unticked: Open tabs, Cookies and site data, Site permissions

Tabs get closed, otherwise works as on tin.

I clicked on auto restore previous session about six months ago. The session I had open that day of about 20 (now completely irrelevant) tabs opens every time I open my browser. I have to close them all to start a new work day.

I found a work- around. If I go to History and clicking on Restore Previous Session within the History setting yhis took me to my last session. Now the browser is starting to add additional tabs I had open during that previous day. This is a nightmare - I never have a clear browser. How to stop this? I use my History. I don't want to delete History and clear all of the cache and the browser memory. I have put in a request for help before 2-3 months ago. That was the only suggestion. Some idiot invented this option. The same idiot needs to work out how to fix this bug. (apologies to the volunteers who read this - I appreciate your thoughts).

I'm running the latest Firefox here on my trusty old Intel Mac Pro on Big Sur. Keeps on truckin'. However, just now I looked and the Mac said it had "Rebooted because of a problem". All my open tabs came right back up in Firefox and my Search History is fine. But when I click on the Address Bar I no longer get the list of top sites that I often visit, NY Times, banking, social media, etc. Why would that suddenly just disappear, and how can I get it back?

Please guide me. Dailymotion stream not running on Firefox but works on Chrome. I uninstall firefox and reinstall it fresh but problem still exist. The player play for like 2 seconds and then screen turn blank. I am using Windows 11 and using latest firefox version. Thank You
