Under the Tools menu I need the option tab to work with a web site; the option tab is not under the tools menu. I do not know where it is or how to get it back.

On Mac you can find it in Firefox > Preferences

Menu differences: Windows: Tools > Options - Mac: Firefox > Preferences - Linux: Edit > Preferences
