Media players start instead when i open a new tap and i don't like it that way

Hello When i open a new tap an there's a video in it like youtube video or just a media player the video starts instead and I don't like it that way. I don't want to go to the tap and click the pause button. Maybe it can be like if I open the tap the video can begin or so. Thanks for you work

hi, if you update to firefox 56 it will no longer autoplay media in tabs that get opened in the background and instead just starts playback once you switch to that tab (or click the play button on such a tab)...
