The print preview window will appear.{/for} # In the print preview window, make sure '''Scale''' is set to '''Shrink To Fit'''. # Make sure the '''Portrait''' orientation is set. # Click {button Page Setup...}. The Page Setup window will appear. # In the Page Setup window, click the '''Margins & Header/Footer''' tab. # In the Margins section, make sure the page margins are set correctly (the default setting is '''12.7''' mm, or '''0.5''' in). # Click {button OK} to close the Page Setup window and return to the Print Preview window. # Back in the Print Preview window, click {button Print}. If not, follow the instructions below. {/for} = Check other browsers and printers = You can see whether your problem is with Firefox, your printer, or the website you're visiting: * Check to see whether the page prints correctly in another browser (such as {for win}Internet Explorer{/for}{for mac}Safari{/for}{for linux}Epiphany{/for}) If the page prints incorrectly in another browser also: * There might be a problem with your printer: If you have another printer, try printing the page with that printer. If the second printer prints the page properly, update your printer driver from your printer manufacturer's website. * There might be a problem with the page. Contact the website administrator. If the page prints correctly in another browser, follow the instructions below in the following sections. = Reset Firefox printer setting = Several printer issues can be resolved by resetting Firefox's printer settings: # [[T:aboutconfig]] # In the '''{for not fx11}Filter{/for}{for fx11}Search{/for}''' field, type '''print_printer'''. # [[T:contextmenu]] on the {pref print_printer} setting and select {menu Reset}. # [[T:closeFirefox]] When you start Firefox again, try printing the page with which you had problems previously. {note}'''Note:''' In Firefox 5.0 and earlier versions print.print_printer was used for this preference.The print.print_printer preference maybe exist also when using older versions of Firefox with the same profile. Reseting that print.print_printer preference in that profile, restart Firefox, and then print anything and that preference won't reappear.{/note} = Reset all Firefox printer settings = If the above steps did not work, you may want to reset all of Firefox's printer settings: # [[T:profileFolder]] # [[T:closeFirefox]] # In your profile folder, copy the {filepath prefs.js} file to another folder to make a backup of it. # Open the original {filepath prefs.js} file in a text editor (such as {for win}Wordpad{/for}{for mac}TextEdit{/for}{for linux}Emacs{/for}). # Remove all lines in {filepath prefs.js} that start with '''print.''' and save the file. If something goes wrong when you open Firefox, close it again and overwrite {filepath prefs.js} with the backup you made. = Change the default font = <!-- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=454532#c3 --> The Time New Roman font may not be recognized by your printer.
