I can not access .tk or any other two-letter domain. All I get is a blank screen. (An example http://datepreq.tk ) Is it because I have a Mac? I can't access any two-letter domains with any other Apple device that I own.

That's strange. If it affects all devices using your network, maybe reboot or power cycle your router in case something has gone buggy in there.

My other thought would be to try setting your Firefox to use DNS over HTTPS if it isn't already. This article has the steps: Firefox DNS over HTTPS.
