I'm using a new PC with Windows 11 and find that I, inadvertently close Firefox with 16-20 open tabs. Most of the time when I reopen FF, the tabs are still there, as expected. Sometimes, the browser opens with just a new home page and the pinned and other tabs have closed. I can sometimes see the 16ish tabs in history and reopen them. More recently, I find that they are not in history as a number of tabs so I have to set them up again. This rarely happened on my old PC and if it did I would have bookmarked a group of open tabs that I used regularly.
The failsafe FF General setting is as follows: Startup, Open previous windows and tabs.
I don't know how I can stop losing my open Tabs but if I was able to bookmark all the open tabs to be used in case of a problem I would feel more secure.
How do I bookmark ALL or several my open tabs?

Hi,
i want to autoupdate firefox silently on a bunch of servers.
When the mentioned settings are in place i'm still promted to update firefox when opening it.
This isn't possible for the users as this is something a systemengineer should do.
Is there anything i'm missing for a silent autoupdate?
There is no JSON file in place. these settings have been distributed by a GPO.
Kind regards,
Remco

Firefox for some reason fails to print the document. Each time a “Print” button on viewer’s toolbar is clicked, an NS_ERROR_FAILURE error appears in the console (see screenshot). Other buttons work as intended. The PDF itself is rendered correctly. The only issue is printing in Firefox.

When you use Google's Translator, this application automatically adds a link to Firefox's history each time you modify even a tiny bit of what you are translating.
This means that sometimes, you can add 1,000 links within a day when you incrementally translate a piece of text, what is the default way to do.
Today, two minutes of that work generated 40 links!
Example of a typical link:
And that was only a small piece of text!
In my history, there are in between 50,000 of these, despite regularly deleting many of them.
Even on a relatively fast notebook, deleting 1,000 links in the history takes minutes.
I posted the problem to Google Translate as a feedback many times, but they never answered.
Is there a possibility within Firefox to selectively get rid of this permanent garbage?
That would be wonderful.
I'm new to Firefox, and I am not sure how to make my homepage transparent to see my theme in full, if it is possible. How do I do this?

Hello to everybody, My question: Opening local .mdb files (MS Access database) does no longer work in Firefox 120, but was ok in previous releases. The only choice is to save the file rather than onening it with MS access. Under Firefox settings/applications the file type .mdb does not appear. If I answer the question "What should Firefox do with other files?" with "Ask whether to open or save files" it has no effect at all. I expect to find an entry for .mdb files where to choose "always ask" as was the case earlier. Please help!

After updating to v120 my Firefox started behaving strangely. With v119 I was able to fire up my Linux and Firefox and had immediate access to both Gmail and Calendar. Now I am requested to sign in every time, are offered a Shareable Calendar (for which I have no use) and get a notification in my cell phone reporting a new login. It would appear that the problem lies in syncing as WhatsApp Web is also requesting scanning its QR code every time too. This is most annoying. No settings were changed after the update. As a temporary solution I grabbed a v119 tar.gz from my wife's laptop and installed it in mine. Now all is behaving normally as before. Am I doing something wrong? Will appreciate any help you can provide.

In the last few months, when clicking on the file icon to download a PDF, the "save as" dialog box does not show up fully and I have to view all windows then click on any open window for the dialog box to appear.
I am on a Mac desktop, running MacOS Monterey 12.6.5 I just updated Firefox, to 120.0.1
I attached an image of what the screen looks like after I click the file icon (top right) to download a PDF. It only shows the "Format" part of the "save as" dialog box until I zoom out to view all the windows then have to click on any open window, then the full dialog box will allow me to choose a location to save and rename.
Any help if this a Firefox issue or a Mac issue?

I tried to pay my Wells Fargo VISA bill online as I do every month. This morning it listed all my accounts correctly on the 'Accounts' screen, but when I clicked the options to transfer money, depending on the screen I was on, it gave a message "you do not have two accounts to transfer money from and to" (not the exact wording.)
I tried to use a different path to do the same thing, and on that screen it displayed the 'FROM' accounts correctly but the "TO" account area was blank.
I had to close Firefox, load Edge, and was able to transfer the money from the checking account and pay the VISA bill.
This has never happened before and I have done this transfer and pay operation every month for years. Something has changed in the browser and needs to be fixed.
