The message at the bottom of the window when I'm in my mailbox says "Waiting for client-s.gateway.messenger.live.com" This continues for long periods of time and when I'm reading or deleting emails, the emails don't immediately go into the deleted folder. They sit there until I reopen my mailbox. It's like everything gets queued up while it waits for something to happen. This began to happen when Microsoft recently updated Outlook. So I tried using the Edge browser and I don't have this problem, therefore it has to be some type of compatibility issue with FireFox. I hope someone can figure this out, so I don't have to discontinue using FireFox. Thanks

Hi, please : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 61.0.2 with a Full Version Installer

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Hello, I went through and did the steps you suggested but it did not solve the problem. After I uninstalled Firefox I went to delete the Mozilla program folder, but it wouldn't let me delete it because it was read only protected, even though I am the administrator and have the authority. When I displayed the contents, it said the folder was empty. When I went to delete Mozilla files in the Program X86 files section, there weren't any Mozilla folders there. I could not locate any Mozilla Program Data files to delete either. I did the system restart and then the disk cleanup steps. I reloaded the new version of Firefox 61.0.2 and restarted. I went to my mail page for outlook and opened my mailbox and I get the same condition. The little blue dot icon is going back and forth in the tab window and at the bottom of the page it says waiting for client-s.gateway.messenger.live.com. Any other suggestions?

Then you got bigger problems if you can't delete the folder did you try to delete it after a restart as well? Otherwise you will have to use Windows Safe Mode boot and then delete the folder.

No, I didn't try to delete it after the restart, but I will go through the entire process again and try to delete it. However, before I do this again, can you or someone tell me what you think is actually wrong? What are these steps trying to fix? Is there something corrupted with the FireFox install? Is there a problem with the uninstall process that doesn't clean up the firefox files/folders? Since this started happening right after Microsoft updated outlook, it looks like some compatibility problem with Firefox to me. If you could shed some light on this it would help. Thanks
