If the workaday schlubs at mozilla can't see the problem with their trying to destroy the decent moral person who helped to found the company they owe their jobs and livelihood to, then i'm not sure the problem is fixable.

hello, i have no idea what you are talking about, but since it doesn't look like a genuine question for technical support, it is offtopic in this forum - please refer to the Mozilla Support rules and guidelines.

If you mean Brendan Eich who was the CTO and then promoted by Mozilla to CEO back in April 2014?. Seems like you misunderstood what happened back then.

Mozilla did not get rid Brendan Eich, a man who co-founded the Mozilla project, the Mozilla Foundation and the Mozilla Corporation. He made the decision himself to leave as his way of trying to help Mozilla.

Mozilla lost users due to the misinterpretations of what really happened as many had hatred towards Mozilla for making Brendan as CEO and then later thought Mozilla caved in to the outside pressure of having him step down and wrongly thought Mozilla fired him or pushed him out.

The Mozilla board tried to get him to stay in some capacity whether back as CTO or in another capacity.

All because of donation that he made back in 2008 and was public record due to a California law. Mozilla knew about this for years and he was accepted and supported by LGBT employees and outside LGBT groups even. Yet many closed minded outsiders were sadly not supportive of him being promoted from CTO to CEO and those hateful people were even worse towards some lgbt employees who received death threats even for supporting Brendan as CEO when they made their support of him public.

The only thing Mozilla could have done instead is played it more safe by making Brendan a interim CEO initially as they did with Chris Beard (shortly after Brendan made the decision to step down) and then was later made as CEO.
