Please update to Firefox 20 Update Firefox to the latest release. Firefox 3.6 is horribly out of date, not supported by many websites, slow and insecure. Then try again

I am having problems upgrading to firefox 20 from version 3.6.11. I tried acouple different things to upgrade nothing seems to work!

I'm not sure if Ubuntu 9.04 will work with the latest Firefox version, so be sure to check the system requirements.

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.
