Hello, I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with Android OS 3.1 the other day and did not like the stock browser so I install Firefox for Mobile which works great.

However, it seems that the browser was unable to perform the touch, select a range of words/sentences/paragraphs, then copy/cut. This is very frustrating when you are a part of a forum community and you cannot perform an edit topic/thread.

I wonder if there is a work around, and is this the Android OS or Firefox issue ?

Text selection capabilities are in the works with active development. A subset of functionality that is working is available right now in Firefox Beta. You can download Firefox Beta off of the Android Marketplace.

Thank you for replying. I tried the BETA, and here is what I found; the select/cut/copy works on websites. However, when in editing/replying to a post mode in a forum board running IP Baord v. 3.1.2, it failed to appear.
