I have WIN XP,SP3, up-to-date Firefox 3.6.16, mcafee internet security suite- I can't go back one page to start point from websites. Clicking on it in HISTORY is only way I can. Began 3-4 wks ago after update. FF4 on diff PC is same. Works in I.E.
neither pc had this problem until after the update 3-4 weeks ago.

I do not know if it still causes a problem, but the McAfee site advisor has been reported to cause problems with the back button, disabling the site advisor or uninstalling it may solve the problem.
I have had site advisor installed but do not use it at present.

Hey, John99-
I went in, disabled Site Advisor, and once again, I have a workable " Go Back One Page " button. The only time I use Site Advisor is on any og the Search websites, so it'll be easy to enable it for the searches and dis-able it for others. Thanks for the fast reply and the great suggestion.
