i am using firefox 3.6.15 in my lap when i open it only 1 tab will open and i tried to open another tab in shortcut key which is on upside(+mark) then also its not working... help me in this

dear m using firefox 3.6.15 in that when i go to click on new tab it is not working even also from file option.. n i reinstalled the same then also having the same problem kindly solve this problem and suggest me other good browsers..

Do you have the Ask toolbar, this has caused this problem for many people. If you do have the Ask toolbar, uninstall it and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
