Hello and to whom this may concern,

I can't access either of these sites, speakeasy or speedtest.net modem speed tests on Firefox. Although I can access these sites on internet explorer. I have updated my adobe flashplayer to 10.1.102.64. My current plugins are: DRM Store Netscape, Npdsplay dll, Silverlight 4.0.51204.0, Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape 10.0.0, Thanks for any help that can be provided. Respectfully, Lennie

Most speed test websites use ActiveX Flash for IE and Java for other browsers, to do the test. I believe the solution for you is to install Java.

Your More system details list doesn't show the Flash plugin, so if you have installed the plugin for Firefox then make sure that it is enabled (Tools > Add-ons > Plugins)

IE uses an ActiveX control to handle Flash objects. Firefox uses a different NPAPI plugin.

You can use this manual download link:

Hello and thanks for the reply,

Oddly as it seems, just shortly after posting this problem, I was prompted by an info bar that my flash player wasn't up to date. I complied and it fixed the problem. I had complied with the same prompt yesterday via a link in one of the test sites but apparently it didn't update. Thanks for your time and suggestion.
