Calendar sidebar - missing data for series

Pierre de la Verre

I activated the sidebar of my calendar to display the events. It works fine, but I'm missing the data of an serie of events.

Example: I made an events from Nov. 1 to Nov. 3, entire day. The sidebar shows me only the first and the last day, but it hides the others days - in this example Nov. 2. See attached screenshot.

The "full calendar view" shows this event correctly on all 3 days.

Bug or feature or wrong setting?

You are speaking about the "Today Pane". I can reproduce the same "issue" in my Thunderbird 158 installation (image). But I don't know whether this is a bug or a feature and I don't remember whether this was different in earlier Thunderbird. Now imagine creating an event lasting a week: would you like that your Today pane is packed with seven entries for the same event?

Yes. I know it in every other view and software, and I think it it helpfully.
