Slow and Incomplete Loading of Websites

My network is pretty fast -

  • Download Speed - 76.30 mbps
  • Upload Speed - 113.13 mbps
  • Idle Latency - 61 ms
  • Download Latency - 59 ms
  • Upload Latency - 18 ms

Even though this is a pretty fast network connection, my websites on firefox take a long time to load, for example youtube takes like 2 seconds to load, and sometimes some elements of the website do not even load. This is a very annoying problem which I would like a solution for.

The most common cause of slow loading in Firefox is an extension or add-on.

Try Firefox's Troubleshoot Mode: This is the easiest way to test this theory. It starts Firefox with all extensions and hardware acceleration temporarily disabled.

Click the Firefox menu.

Go to Help and select Troubleshoot Mode....

If the websites now load quickly, you know an extension is the culprit. You can then restart Firefox normally and disable your extensions one by one to find the specific one causing the issue.
