I had Thunderbird on my Windows10 pc for many years. I created K9 account on my Android Tablet a year ago then moved it to Thunderbird for Android Mobile recently Both work great. My Windows was having issues so I reinstalled Windows 10 from recovery - keeping my personal files. Have I have lost my Thunderbird profile? I exported my Thunderbird settings from my Android tablet but can not find a place Import them in Windows 10 Thunderbird. thunderbird_settings_export_2025-04-12.k9s Is the file I am trying to import into Windows 10. I have 3 email accounts that I am trying to import.

1. find your old profile directory https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data 2. then, use profile manager to create a new folder https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/using-multiple-profiles#w_creating-a-profile and point that profile to the directory from step 1
