I am constantly denied access to my online banking, my bank says, because I use Firefox, and that I wouldn't have this problem if I used Chrome - any possible truth to this? Any fix? thanks

It honestly depends on the bank. Some bank websites are very sensitive to the tracking scripts Firefox blocks. Some banks are more known for having issues with Firefox because their web developers only want to design for the other 3 web browsers: Chrome, Edge and Safari.

If you mention which bank is the one giving you issues, we can try to test it ourselves if we also have an account there. Also sometimes the extensions or addons you add to Firefox can cause issues like this. So you might want to try disabling your addons & retesting your bank site.

Disable or remove Add-ons

If that doesn't help, you can also try lowering the Tracking Protection to "Standard": https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/enhanced-tracking-protection-firefox-desktop#w_adjust-your-global-enhanced-tracking-protection-settings
