My login to Thunderbird has suddenly stopped working. I am asked for the password for my email account on pop.gmail.com. But when I enter the password for my gmail account it fails. What can I do?

Keazen oplossing

Thanks for replying. I eventually realised that my problem was that I had changed a setting in my Google account, to disable non-secure apps. This meant that Thunderbird failed to retrieve the password and would not log me in.
