Same here. At least give users the option to use dark or light mode. Taking that away was a big mistake.

You can possibly modify this pref on the about:config page.

  • layout.css.prefers-color-scheme.content-override
    Dark (0), light (1), system (2) or browser (3)

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can click the button to "Accept the Risk and Continue".
