Hello everyone! I`m using Firefox for a long time, but the following problem makes is almost impossible to us it anymore:

since a couple of month Facebook stopped working correctly on Firefox, it works for a while, then suddenly everything stopped, does not load anything, nor the page, nor messages... I need to clear the cache of facebook cookies then works for a while again... and then repeat.

It wasn`t a blocker problem with Facebook, but now it does the same with everything related to Google too. I push google button on bookmark, nothing, i push any button on Google (if already opened), nothing... Google docs buttons disappear, google login not works, etc... The same cookie cleaning helps, but i can not do this with google too... I`m logged in to work documents and stuff, can`t just reload everything every 10 minutes....

I use only Addblock Ultimate and Mouse Gestures Event, but tried disabling them without effect on my problem.

Thank you for your input!

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to. You may also lose any settings for that website.

If there is still a problem,

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

While you are in Troubleshoot(Safe) mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Thank you very much for your answer!

Deleting the cookies helps, but after 2-3 minutes, the problem is back. And i always clear the cache and cookies when i close Firefox.

The Troubleshoot mode or disableing the Hardware Acceleration does not fix the problem, still persists more then ever.

If the problem goes away with the computer in Safe Mode, the problem is with one of the other programs on the system.

As a test, disable your protection programs.

You can create a new profile as a quick test to see if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
