Home buton on Firefox for Android please?

Hello Firefox lovers! Before, we had a Home button. Since a certain time, i don't see it. Is it only me? Do i have a bug on my device?

Or it has been really removed on purpose? If yes, can we know why ?

I searched in support sections. The only suggestion i found 

is to press on tabs button, then press on "+";
it will open a new tab, wich seems to act as a kind of home.

But then i have to close the precedent tab where i was. So this is more a 3 steps work-around.

I want a simple button, always visible. Like it was before.

I also searched in "add-ons" section, for Firefox on Android. But didn't find an add-on providing a Home button. By the way, sometimes, add-on are not safe. So i prefer to have a normal Home button.

Does someone know why it has been removed ? And if they plan to bringbit back ?

Hi

Firefox for Android has not had a home button.

I think you may have been using an add-on that did add this functionality, but that add-on is currently not supported in the new Firefox for Android.

We do hope to bring support for more add-ons in future updates to Firefox for Android.
