At start up nothing happens for a long time. Then, I receieve an error message3 about a sccript being busy, do I want to wait or stop the script. I stop the script, and everything i fine after that. The script is: chrome://messenger/content/mailWindowOverlay.js:1425

The script itself is not the cause of the problem. Please try the following...

Start *Windows'* safe mode with networking enabled - win7 http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-7 Still In Windows safe mode, start thunderbird in safe mode - https://support.mozilla.org/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird

Does problem go away?
