When I double-click the Mozilla Firefox icon on my desktop, a pop-up appears saying "Couldn't load XPCOM"

When I click the START button click on CONTROL PANEL click on PROGRAMS (uninstall a program) select Mozilla Firefox 43.0.1 (x86-en-US) and click on UNINSTALL nothing happens.

Downloading Firefox from your website is unsuccessful.

Opening the HELPER.EXT (in C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\uninstall) doesn't work either.
