when trying to enter the string into the Firefox area as instructed to reset my Master password, (chrome://pippki/content/resetpassword.xul)

Instead of being directed to the page to reset the master password, I am seeing a page saying something like "the page may have been changed, check your spelling", etc. I've checked everything and I seem to be entering the correct info, and have tried several times with the same result. What should I do? I can't get anywhere in Firefox without the master password.??

This work around will only work on Firefox for Desktop. In the case that this is happening for Firefox for mobile you will have to remove the app and reinstall:
