Hi, I have recently set-up 4 imap+2 Pop accounts at thunderbird.(transfer from outlook)

I always have these accounts for a long time for different usage areas. I use one of them as my to do list or consolidation account. So when I recieve a mail from one of four of these accounts, I move the mail to the approciate folder of this account. (ie customers, suppliers, quality issues etc.) And do the follow up from there. Not from each single account.

The problem I met is, when I try to reply or forward an e-mail from its new folder, Thunderbird doesn't take sender information from the recipient information of the mail. Instead it uses the e-mail address of the account where the folder is in.

For sure this will turn my life into disaster because I can't quarantee to correct it every time. So someone will send to my xxx address and will recieve the answer from my yyy address.

I will be happy if you quide me to change this default setting. I want sender always to be same as reciepent. At least default proposal should be like that.

At outlook I haven't had this problem.

Best Regards
