At work we use an Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 and i wanted to sync my Firefox OS calendar app.

So i set up an davmail-server to sync via caldav and OWA. In fact i works, but there are some problems which make it hardly possible to work with:

- not all calendar entries seem to be there i my phone - especially the series entries are difficult (either not shown at all or at a wrong date or time and so on) - i cannot modify, delete or create new entries in my Firefox OS calendar app (only in the offline calendar)

Now my main question is: Do you have any experience how i can sync my calendar app with the Exchange 2013 server in a different way which works better?

I would be very grateful for any hints!

Is there a possibility to upgrade the Alcatel One Touch Fire E to 1.4, 2.0 oder 2.1? Perhaps this would help?

HI hboie, I am very happy to hear that you successfully found this new device! Unfortunately this is before support could get their hands on one to test.

However I do know that the updates are controlled by the OEM and unless the phone is unlocked, I would not know what build to recommend.

In my simulator however I am able to set up a Caldav calendar with the username, password and url. However the events in a series are not editable. But all day events stretched across multiple days are as well as individual events. (In the list of calendars is there a check mark next to the calendars that are not editable? )

Is there any official release date for 1.4 or 2.0 - I found very different information in the wiki?

Are the any plans to support Exchange Active Sync for the calendar App?

Hey hboie, I got some help finding this: https://bugzil.la/932267 It looks like the support is targeted for version 2.0. However the updates for specific devices are up to final decisions and evaluations after code complete with the partners.

Please follow that bug for updates on support. :-)
