i just upgraded from 12.04 to 14.04. now thunderbird does not have any of my email settings from evolution and can not use the pop3 email servers that it did manage to find in the upgrade. have i lost everything i had in evolution in this upgrade?

i did this upgrade because i tried to install a new hp printer, but the drivers from hp were not working in 12.04. now 14.04 can not see any printer through the usb connections.

What are you talking about, Evolution, or Thunderbird?

I suppose 12.04 and 14.04 are not Thunderbird versions. So what update are you talking about?
