changed to 8.0 and now my copy paste keyboard shortcuts don't work
Yesterday I downloaded the new version of Firefox (8.0) and now my copy and paste keyboard shortcuts are not working , i.e. Ctrl C and Ctrl V. I searched the help section and found that someone had this problem with an older version. They mentioned that the shortcut had changed to the Alt key, rather than the Ctrl key. I tried the Alt key and that doesn't work either.

Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V still reign supreme (g). Can you pls expand on "copy and paste keyboard shortcuts are not working". For instance if you highlight some text in this message and press Ctrl+C, do you get it into the clipboard - i.e. can you paste if in some other application, like Notepad?

No. If I highlight text and hit Ctrl+C, it does not go into the clipboard. If I try to paste the text in notepad, using Ctrl+V, the text that shows up is something that I copied yesterday instead of the most recently copied text.

Nevermind. Just tried restarting my computer once again and now they're working. Not sure what the problem was, but I appreciate your efforts.
