Why can't I open new tabs in 3.6? I had to ditch Firefox 8.
Running Win 7 on a Compac. I updated to Firefox 8, but it was so quirky that I downloaded 3.6.24, but now I can't open tabs. I have to open new windows.

This issue can be caused by the Ask.com toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)
Your system details show that toolbar in the user agent as AskTbFXTV5/3.13.1.18107
Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

You would also be better off without your Conduit Engine
Uninstalled ASK toolbar and Conduit Engine. Works fine now. Thanks.
