If I click on any specific car and then try to open 'More Pictures' on the site www.vandp.net, it won't work. If I do it on my wife's laptop (still on Mozilla Firefox), it works fine. It works if I use Google Chrome on my laptop. Help please!

A website will work correctly if I access on my laptop through Google Chrome but not using Mozilla Firefox. The site works fine through Mozilla Firefox on my wife's laptop. Both use Windows 7

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Regrettably this doesn't fix the problem - when I click on More Photos I am connected to 'MobileMe Gallery' with a timer in the centre of the screen that remains there. If I go to this site through Google Chrome or on my wife's laptop (again Win7) everything works fine. There is something wrong with my laptop (Win7) which is particularly irritating. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Andrew

So, it still doesn't work in Save mode?

  • Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
  • Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
  • Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
  • Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).

If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
