How do I deinstall "Bytemobile Optimization Client", it has the De-install button greyed out.

Hi, I suddenly have an add-on called "Bytemobile Optimization Client". I did not ask for this, did not approve the installation, and what is worse, it only has the "Enable" button enabled. The "De-install" button is grayed out. This should not be allowed by Firefox. How do I get rid of this?

You may be able to uninstall it using the Windows Control Panel's add-remove programs.

  1. Click Start and choose Control Panel
  2. In Control Panel double click on the "Programs and Features" icon
  3. If Bytemobile is listed there, click on it to select it, then click on Uninstall/Change and follow the prompts

Do you have AT&T Communication Manager. That includes the Bytemobile Optimization Client. a problem solved, go to your T-Mobile Internet Manager file in c:/program files, and delete addon file. that s it restard ffox.
