I hid the menu bar inadvertently and cannot figure out how to restore it

i chose "hide the menu bar" i had intended to hide the google search bar now i cannot figure out how to restore the menu bar and i miss it.

I got a tip from a friend, and it worked, so i have my menu bar back again! YAY

You can press the "Alt" key to toggle it on and off. To keep it on click "view" then Toolbars and check Menu Bar.
